What data we collect
- Enquiry form: name, email, phone, business name, location, and project requirements you submit.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage data via analytics (if enabled).
- Communications: emails and messages you send us.
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
- To deliver website services under contract.
- To improve our website and understand visitor behaviour (analytics).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Lawful bases: contract performance, legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, running our business), and consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies if used).
Form submissions
Enquiry forms may be processed via Formspree or similar secure form providers. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored according to the processor's policies. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months unless a contract is formed, in which case we retain relevant data for up to 7 years for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Contact hello@aurabuild.co.uk. You may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
