Website Services Agreement

Please read and retain a copy. This contract protects both you and Aurabuild.

Last updated: 19 June 2026

Summary terms also appear on our Terms page. This Agreement is the full contract for website services.

This document is a standard business contract template. For high-value or complex projects, consider independent legal advice.

1. Parties and agreement

This Website Services Agreement ("Agreement") is between Aurabuild ("we", "us", "Aurabuild"), contact: hello@aurabuild.co.uk, and the client named on the signed order form, invoice, or written acceptance ("you", "Client").

By paying an invoice, signing an order form, ticking acceptance on our enquiry form, or instructing us to begin work, you agree to this Agreement and our Terms of Service at /terms/.

If you are a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you are a consumer, statutory rights that cannot be excluded still apply.

2. Services

Aurabuild provides website design, development, launch support, and (where purchased) ongoing content updates as described in your order.

Services typically include: layout and design, mobile-friendly build, basic on-page SEO setup, guidance on domain selection, and launch assistance. Exact scope is confirmed in your enquiry summary and order confirmation.

  • We do not register domains in our name — you purchase and own your domain via a third-party registrar.
  • Hosting is not included unless explicitly stated. We may advise on hosting; you are responsible for hosting fees and renewal.
  • Third-party costs (domain, hosting, stock images, premium plugins, etc.) are your responsibility unless included in writing.

3. One-off setup plan (£360)

The one-off plan is a single fee of £360 (plus VAT if applicable) for the agreed website build and launch.

Unless agreed in writing, the one-off plan does not include ongoing updates, maintenance, or monthly support after launch.

Reasonable pre-launch revisions within the agreed scope are included. Additional work outside scope will be quoted before proceeding.

  • Payment is due as stated on your invoice (typically 50% deposit before work begins and 50% before launch, unless otherwise agreed).
  • We may withhold launch until all fees due under the one-off plan are paid in full.

4a. Rolling Standard plan (£320 + £30/month)

The Rolling Standard plan comprises an initial setup fee of £320 plus £30 per month (plus VAT if applicable).

The plan includes up to 2 general content changes per calendar month after launch, in addition to the initial build.

A "general change" means updating existing text, replacing images, adding or removing items on existing pages (e.g. a service or testimonial), or minor layout adjustments. It does not include full redesigns, new page types, e-commerce builds, custom development, or new functionality.

  • Minimum term: 3 months from the contract start date.
  • Cancellation notice: 3 months' written notice to hello@aurabuild.co.uk.
  • During the notice period you remain liable for all monthly fees, even if no changes are requested.
  • You may not terminate before the end of the minimum term except by paying the remaining balance of the minimum term, at Aurabuild's discretion.
  • Late or missed payments may result in suspension of change requests and/or support until accounts are brought up to date.
  • Unused general changes do not roll over to the next month.

4b. Rolling Plus plan (£320 + £45/month)

The Rolling Plus plan comprises an initial setup fee of £320 plus £45 per month (plus VAT if applicable), comprising £30 base fee plus a £15 changes add-on.

The plan includes up to 4 general content changes per calendar month after launch.

A "general change" means updating existing text, replacing images, adding or removing items on existing pages (e.g. a service or testimonial), or minor layout adjustments. It does not include full redesigns, new page types, e-commerce builds, custom development, or new functionality.

The changes add-on may be selected at sign-up or added later in writing, subject to the same minimum term and cancellation notice as the base rolling plan.

4c. Landlord Portfolio plan (£480 + £70/month)

The Landlord Portfolio plan comprises an initial setup fee of £480 plus £70 per month (plus VAT if applicable).

This plan is designed for landlords and property portfolios. The initial build includes property listing pages or sections using an agreed listing template.

Listing updates are included without a monthly cap, subject to fair use and the scope below. General website changes are limited to 4 per calendar month.

A "listing update" means adding or removing a property listing, or updating listing details within the existing property template — including rent, bedrooms, location text, photos, availability or let-agreed status, and listing descriptions. Listing updates must use the agreed listing structure; they are not full website redesigns.

A "general change" means updating existing text, replacing images, adding or removing items on existing pages (e.g. a service or testimonial), or minor layout adjustments. It does not include full redesigns, new page types, e-commerce builds, custom development, or new functionality.

Listing updates and general changes are separate allowances. A listing update does not reduce your general change allowance unless the work falls outside listing scope.

Fair use: listing updates cover normal landlord portfolio activity (typical add, remove, and update of individual properties). Bulk migration, excessive volume (e.g. dozens of new listings in one month without prior agreement), or work outside listing scope may be quoted separately.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information, content, logos, and images you have the right to use.
  • Respond to review requests and approval requests within a reasonable time (typically 7 days unless agreed otherwise). Delays may shift timelines.
  • Register and renew your domain and hosting in your own name.
  • Ensure any content you supply does not infringe third-party rights or break applicable law.
  • Maintain backups of any content you provide where appropriate.

6. Approvals and go-live

We will present the website for your review before launch. You are responsible for checking all text, contact details, prices, and legal information.

Launch approval constitutes acceptance that the site meets the agreed scope. Post-launch changes are covered by your plan (rolling or landlord) or quoted separately (one-off).

7. Intellectual property

Upon full payment of all fees due for the completed work, you receive a licence to use the final website content and design for your business, excluding third-party materials (fonts, stock images, plugins) which remain subject to their own licences.

We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, code libraries, and know-how. We may reuse generic components and techniques on other projects.

You warrant that materials you supply do not breach any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.

8. Domain and hosting

You own your domain at all times. Aurabuild is not responsible for domain expiry, DNS misconfiguration, or registrar issues caused by you or your registrar.

If we require access to hosting or DNS to perform work, you grant temporary access and must maintain secure credentials. Revoke access when the project ends if you wish.

9. Limitation of liability

We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or commercial results.

We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability arising from this Agreement is limited to the fees paid by you to Aurabuild in the 12 months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Nothing in this Agreement excludes your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable.

10. Termination and suspension

We may suspend work or access if invoices are overdue by more than 14 days after the due date, after giving you reasonable notice.

Either party may terminate for material breach if the breach is not remedied within 14 days of written notice.

On termination of a rolling or landlord plan, sections relating to fees owed, notice periods, and intellectual property continue to apply.

On termination you remain responsible for domain, hosting, and any third-party subscriptions you have set up.

11. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy at /privacy/.

If we process personal data on your behalf through your website (e.g. contact form submissions), you are the data controller for that data and must provide appropriate privacy information to your visitors.

12. General

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights to bring claims in your home jurisdiction where applicable.
  • If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in force.
  • We may update published terms for new orders; existing contracts continue on the terms in force at sign-up unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
  • Notices to Aurabuild must be sent to hello@aurabuild.co.uk.

Acceptance

A signed copy may be issued by email PDF or e-signature platform before work begins. Enquiry form acceptance constitutes agreement to these terms for the selected plan.
